I'm thinking about doing an article (I freelance for several publications) on how producers and TV networks treat applicants for the unscripted shows that now constitute over half of all programming. Any comments?

Hi Brooklyn! Thank you for the well wishes - I just got back. Everything went great, and I am now officially the host of a new Nat Geo show (title & premise confidential). I'll be working on research and ligistics prep until filming starts in April. I'll be checking in with you guys from time to time!
