Baldy Balderdash 2008
Skiing for Scholars
One lucky winner and 199 of their friends will have the opportunity to experience Bald Mountain like no one has before. This winter the Ketchum-Sun Valley Rotary Club will raffle off a private ski day on the mountain. Yes, you heard right, your own private day on Bald Mountain with a catered lunch at the Warm Springs Lodge and the wide open slopes all to yourself…..every skier’s dream come true!!
One thousand tickets will be sold for $100.00 each and the money raised will be used to fund the Ketchum-Sun Valley Rotary Education Endowment. Ticket sales will be limited to 50 per person, group or organization and we expect them to go fast!!
Your private day will take place the day after the mountain’s regular closing and you can invite up to 199 of your friends to join you. The Challenger and Christmas lifts will operate and runs will be groomed on both sides of the mountain for those who want to tear up the corduroy.
This is the only time during the season that the mountain has been made available on a private basis and the Ketchum-Sun Valley Rotary Club would like to thank Wally Huffman and the Sun Valley Company for their willingness to help this great cause!! If you would like more information or would like to purchase tickets contact one of your local Rotarians or call 720-8858.
And you need not worry the very popular the Duck Race will continue to be held over Labor Day weekend in support of Blaine County Search & Rescue and the Ketchum-Sun Valley Rotary Clubs' many worthy programs and endeavors.
